For more than 20 years, Garrison Dental Solutions has provided innovative dental products distributed to all seven continents (yes, even Antarctica). Their flagship product, the Composi-tight Sectional Matrix has grown over the years and continues to be the number one product of its kind.
THE CHALLENGE
Garrison Dental Solutions was running on an aging version of Microsoft Dynamics that could no longer be used as their Customer Relationship Manager. With a high volume of sales, Garrison Dental needed a reliable network and technology infrastructure to support an upgrade to the latest Microsoft Dynamics.
OUR SOLUTION
THE APPROACH & RESULTS
We began by evaluating current vendors and integrations and working with the Dynamics developer to establish a checklist of operations needed to complete the upgrade. This included ERP, Financial, Shipping, and Reporting vendors. Once a plan was established with all vendors, ICS Data provided recommendations for all aspects of their technological environment including network infrastructure, servers, applications and licensing, workstations, laptops, and remote connectivity.
ICS Data provided a complete upgrade of Garrison Dental Solutions’ network infrastructure, servers, and application software. We successfully completed this upgrade in a timeline which incorporated multiple VMWare virtual servers, multiple Windows Server 2012 configurations, Gigabit Smart switches, IPSEC VPN Connectivity, Remote Desktop Configuration, Office 365 email integration, and Business Continuity using Veeam replication strategies.
ICS Data continues to deliver secure technology infrastructure and processes in order to provide ongoing support as well as new technology endeavors.
